I would like to suggest a better switch then what came from the factory if your still interested. As you know the factory switch is mounted to the cabinet of the saw and the box that is inside the cabinet often fills with dust, the other problem with the factory switch is that it's small and not easy to reach in some cases. I replaced mine with a paddle type switch and relocated it under the fence rail. It was a fairly easy modification, I did not need to butcher the factory wires. If your interested, contact me and I'll see if I can help you out in more detail on how to do it. I also have a improved dust collection that I have designed for this saw that does not interfear with blade tilting operations. |
