depending on how old your deck is, I would recommend having a Structural Engineer examine the framing before I resurface the deck. If you have joists that are warped, or if you decide to use a composite decking, the joists spacing has to meet the manufactors requirements. Treated lumber sometimes has a mind of it own and can warp or bow. hope this helps |
