reducing mini barn

05/18/2005 03:41 PM victorianone

We need to move a mini barn (8x16 = 128 sq ft) and to do so will require either putting in a foundation at the new site or reducing the size (>120 sq ft). On our budget (or lack thereof) the latter seems more practical. Any advice on how to do this? We are thinking taking off the vinyl (for good - it is painted underneath) and cutting it down lenthwise to the next support, then putting the back wall back on. Can this just be done with saws and redo-ing the shingles to fit? We are novices to anything like this, but are willing to try! Help?
