I have some real nice cabinets in my kitchen - maybe oak. Problem is they are of the dark walnut color. I am trying to change these to make them a golden oak color. I have stripped one of the doors of the finish, but I can't seem to get it all the way bare. I think I need to get it looking like bare wood before I can stain, I have sanded and it doesnt seem to help. Any suggestions?
