It depends on the condition of thr surface. If it's just normal wear with scratches in the surface you may be able to get rid of most of them with a green Scotch Bright pad. Otherwise sandpaper is required. Wet or Dry paper from 3M in 220 grit is very agressive when used with water. Use it in a circular motion with water as a lubricant to remove the worst scratches, followed by 400 grit in the same pattern. Finish up with a green Scotch Bright followed by a red Scotch Bright pad. If all you need to do is remove the glossy surface, just use the red pad. Good luck. |
