removing wood filler

04/15/2003 09:49 AM dsnutt

I am restoring a table that has wood filler on the legs. The wood filler is covering a design on the legs and I would like to see if the design is worth saving before sanding it off. The paint removing products just make it sticky. Does anyone what I can use to remove the wood filler without hurting the wood?
