repair, get ready wall for woodstove??

11/07/1998 05:47 AM

First off, bought this 90 year old home and along with a nice fireplace, it has a woodstove. Can't get decorative fireboard in my area of country (asbestos problem) so mut think of another solution. thought of using brickfacing or tile but need to keep the cost down. Need ideas on which would be better and also how do I seal to the wall whichever I use. Appreciate anyone's help on this.
