I would like to change some of the wall tiles in my shower area. There's nothing wrong with the ones that are there, just want to put in some that are a different color. The backing is green board. If I scratch out the grout around the tiles I would like to remove, then hit it with a hammer until it cracks, and remove the tile, I will undoubtedly peel the face of the drywall off. Will filling with joint compound be good enough to secure the new tile? Is there a better way to do this? |
