residential contruction contract

Sorry, I do not have a sample contract. Guess there are too many to view. We are in final stage of having a custom home built in Colorado. The contract is important but you need to learn a whole lot about the construction process. Even though we are very new to this process, we have discovered several 'problems' during the process that required our intervention. There are literally thousands of decisions that are needed from day-to-day and you need to research all the things you believe you will want in your home. This ranges from heating/cooling systems to knobs on cabinets. Be sure your contract allows you to have final say on the selection process for everything. There will be highs and lows during the process but will be worth it in the end. Good luck!
