I have a bow window that is at the same outhang as my rain gutter in the winter it frezes up and overflows by iceckle onto the top of the bow window and then it backs up into the house.
At this point i go out in the fall and staple a sheet of plastic to the beams under the eves and that keeeps the water out but if I forget to do this it floods in when the ice melts.
I have rehung and leved the guters it still happens. not fun any ideas
