I have a covered patio...with 4x4's and fully roofed. I want to turn that area into an additional room/ game room. I have heard of folks that will let you do most of the work but will guide you thru it to help you along with any problems. I would like to do the majority of the work myself ...if possible with the help of an expert. Can anyone tell me not just about that aspect but all the things i should be thinking about ...i know i have to get each part coded along the way i just dont know which. I am hoping to reuse the roof shingle on top now since they are new and supposed to be really long lasting. I dont need water to the room ....just electricity and that wont be a big problem. Hopefully the windows will air it out enough that i dont need to worry about a heating/cooling system to that room. Please help me ....I am so lost but so interested lol any books that may help too would be great ..thanks thanks thanks ..
