sharpening jointer knives |

I have a 6" jointer that is leaving nice stripes on my wood. Do you use your Tormek or send them out for sharpening? |

If by stripes you mean the little ridges or lines left by a nick in the blades.... then try moving one blade a little bit one way or the other... the nicks don't overlap anymore and the line goes away.... a good temporary fix...
don't know if that helped or not... works good on benchtop planers too...

Daves on it......blade shift here shift there keeps the shop humming.
