Is the brick that soft or is it the mortar between them? How old is the house? Can you upload some photos?

Some bricks are real soft,they're eating the soft bricks.
The house was built with old bricks that were collected over time.

The only suggestion I have, short of replacing the soft bricks, would be to consult an exterminator to see if they know of any deterrents you might use.
