thermal fuse for recessed lighting |

I'm trying to buy a thermal fuse for my recessed light. It has 3 wires, blue, white, and black. It says GTE RP 1A on it and it has threads on it. I would just buy another recessed light but, the way it is installed it would involve dry walling and I want to avoid this. |

Went to local electric supply company and they had a replacement for $7.50.
1/2 hour and everything is back to normal. |

We had no luck with electrical supply stores, so we started calling local lighting stores and got lucky finding some old fixtures to recycle. Good luck! |
