How can I turn the copper roof over my bay window green, as fast as possible? mkwbrum@swbell.net

I make a saturated solution of ammonium cloride and spray it on the copper. Will take 4 or 5 applications, but it works. I have tried vinegar, copper sulfate and other mixtures that I have found on the net but nothing I have found works better.
