I'm putting a clear polyurethane coating on my unfinshed mahogany doors(new). On one side of the door, after putting on the first coat, I noticed there were light color blotches..maybe putty the builder used? I sanded these spots again, but as soon as the varnish hit it, it was visible again. I wanted these doors to show the pretty wood without stain...how can I fix these blotches?
