70's home that was wallpapered directly over drywall. Removing it is a very delicate, time consuming job and walls tear easily. Someone mentioned a thin board product (??) that can be put over the wallpaper and then painted? Is there anything like that? If so, where to get it? Is it easier, less expensive and/or faster than re-skimming the walls?
Thanks
