washing machine leaks

12/31/2007 11:54 AM techteacher9

I have a Whirlpool washing machine that leaks when filling and draining. I have check for the source of the leak, but can't seem to find it by just looking at the insides from underneath. No, I haven't taken anything apart, but I have inspected the hoses as best I could. Anyone have any ideas how I may solve this problem?

Thank you

Model Number?

** Whirlpool washing machine **

I'm afraid that is not enough information to identify the appliance in question. What is needed is its exact model number.

You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances at the following link:

- Model Number Tag Search

Than some disassembly may be required. If you put a piece of cardboard under the washer during a use, the general leak location area may be able to be spotted so your more detailed search will at least have a starting point.

** I haven't taken anything apart **

That is likely going to be necessary.
