i have a water sofner and a osimos water filter for drinking only. i use to have a water company come out to change my filters which at that time they would put a acid wash in my soft water tank. what is that? why is it needed and what kind of acid is it? this company im no longer using. they got way to expensive so i change the filters myself but i dont know about this acid wash for my soft water tank.
