I would not recommend caulking the weep holes. The weep holes serve a very important purpose, and are necessary to a properly functioning window. The weep holes are there to direct the water that gets into the tracks to the exterior. Without the weep holes (or if you caulk them), the windows will overflow into the house when it rains, making your problems worse. The correct fix is to re-install the windows correctly. Short cuts are not the answer. |
