HI.I've started a renovation in my home.We took out a ceiling on the first floor and old floors on the second floor.What we saw is wood beams across that are consiste of not 1 huge beam across from side to side but 2 connected in the middle with big nails.This looks kind of wick to me.I'd like to find out if i can reinforce them with anything?and what should i use? please let me know your professional opinion on this.
