i have a cistern under mykitchen oak wood floor in this 90+ old house. problem is that the floor is about 3/4 inch higher from empty cistern rising. we cut the floor, and broke off the top of 30 ft or more cistern. will the floor ever recede back to the same height of the rest of floor. what do you suggest?
