I'll answer my own question, I went to the local plumbing store that sells mansfield parts and bought a seal, replaced it and it flushes very easy now. Replacing it was extremely easy and required no tools. the seal itself cost $3.30. What happens is over time the seal conforms to the shape of the float and creates "vacuum" type feeling. I'm glad I didn't call a plumber to do a 2 minute job and for a $3 part! |
