Lite-Form Insulating System
Behind the Scenes - Dream Garage

The Lite-Form Insulating System is a new poured-in-place concrete wall system, combining Owens Corning Foamular© extruded polystyrene insulation and Lite-Form ties. The system provides builders with high R-values, versatility and jobsite efficiency. The forms are 2' high x 8' long x 2" thick and are pre-asembled with folding forming ties for easy shipping. The result is a pallet capacity 300% greater than typical rigid insulating concrete forms.

The appropriate corner ties are included with each pre-fabricated corner. Additionally, vertical braces are placed every 8 to 10 feet and diagonal bracing is used to align the form and provide final support. Concrete can be placed in any manner, in 4 foot lifts at a rate of approximately 8 feet per hour. The smooth form walls of the system minimize the possibility of concrete voids.

Ease of cutting the foam and re-assembling the forms on-the-job-site make it possible to construct bays, curved walls and angled corners, or make last minute changes on the product.
