Top-of-the-line, high-tech Kohler fixtures and innovative design elements make the loft bathroom a room to behold. The bathroom features a computerized MasterShower tower in the spacious glass walled shower area, a rare "Vermont Gray" rustic edged marble slab supporting Kohler's aquamarine "floating" spun glass sink, and an electro-mechanical Kohler toilet with a dual flushing system.
The versatile computerized MasterShower tower offers a variety of water action and water delivery systems which can operate individually or in paired combinations. Self-contained plumbing and curcuitry allow easy installation, and make this unit appealing for both new construction and remodeling applications.
The tower features an overhead sheet flow spout for a drenching rinse, two adjustable bodysprays, and a three-way showerhead. The bodysprays permit multiple water action combinations through settings for pulsating or non-pulsating flow, straight or oscillating coverage, cone or fan-shaped water spray pattern, and variable speeds. The showerhead provides soft spray, needle spray, or pulsating flow for hydro massage.
Any two of the MasterShower tower's functions can be used in combination and function selection can be easily switched back-and-forth on a ten-button solid state touch control panel.
The unit is fitted with Kohler's exclusive Rite-Temp pressure balancing valve for protection against hot and cold surges while showering. All MasterShower showerheads, bodysprays, and its sheet flow spout conform to ANSI approved water flow requirements.
The MasterShower tower is designed specifically for flexibility and ease of installation. Hook-ups on the backside of the tower simplify connection to house supply lines. The unit also features an easy access front service panel with water-tight seal.
The exterior of Kohler's MasterShower tower is made of extruded aluminum, the in-wall self-contained housing is thermo-formed. The wall-mounted unit is approximately 50 inches high and 8 inches wide. Finish options, which match the other MasterShower Line components as well as Kohler Faucets products and bathroom accessories, are polished chrome, polished brass, and white.
The Trocadero toilet is an electro-mechancial model that relies on Kohler's unique Power Lite operating system which uses a small (.2 hp) pump to push water through the toilet. The resulting flush is quiet and consistent regardless of water line pressure.
The first U.S.-made toilet with a dual flushing system, the Trocadero allows homeowners to take water conservation one step further with the choice of a 1.6 gallon flush and a 1.1 gallon flush option for liquid waste. Both flushes are activated by Kohler's easy-to-operate Twin Touch side-mounted push button.
The Trocadero Power Lite is designed for normal 12-inch rough-in. It is installed like any other toilet, with the addition that it is simply plugged into an outlet in the same way a kitchen disposal is plugged in at the time of installation.
The beauty of Kohler's Spun Glass Vessel lavatory comes from its radiant color and handcrafted surface irregularities. Depth of color changes as the thickness of the basin walls varies from 3/8" tp 1". Air bubbles formed during the casting process and the unevenness of the naturally occurring pibments which give the glass its color offer surfaces that are inviting to the touch.
The generous basin of the Spun Glass lavatory measures 17 1/2" in diameter with a depth of 5 1/2". In addition to aquamarine the sink is also available in clear and cobalt. Cast glass construction and the thick basin walls enable the lavatory to withstand a range water temperatures.
Installation can be above-counter, self-rim, or in a new decorative wrought iron wall bracket. Wall-mounted faucets, like Kohler's Falling Water faucet, are a strong complement to Vessels lavatories.
