Federal-Style Home Project

Painting the Siding and Installing Shutters (HA0506)

Bob covers some of the techniques involved in stripping and repainting the siding on the old house, as compared with the treatment given to the new addition siding. We're invited to take a look at a Georgian architectural beauty with twin octagonal parlors a few blocks away from our house. Then, we put some shutters on the old Federalist and take a look at how they were made in the factory.
