Kitchen Remodel Project

Pouring the Foundation and Constructing the Walls (HA0603)

After the new foundation is poured, Bob shows us a new system for constructing the walls: stacking Styrofoam forms and pumping them full of concrete. Speaking of concrete, we take a tour of a remarkable concrete building that's survived some of Miami's worst hurricanes: the majestic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.
