Bathroom Renovation Begins (HA1116)
Today Bob visits the home of Pat & Roger Simons, who are undertaking a complete bathroom renovation. The plan is to re-design the layout of the bathroom, while keeping some of the original features, such as the mosaic tiles in the floor. Bob helps Terry Bates from Mult-R construction with the demolition, and Ryley is on hand to help with the insulation. A new tub is put in, as well as a new Whirlpool stackable washer/dryer. Markus Earley is again on hand to talk to Bob about the lighting from Rejuvenation for the new bathroom and an innovative hydronic heating system which requries no plumbing is installed. Finally, we'll travel to Pat's studio where her daughter PK is helping her create a beautiful tile mural that will go in the shower as well as some other clay creations that will be featured throughout the bathroom.
