Two More Porch Renovations (HA1122)
For Bob's next Elmwood project, he joins homeowner Jim Verity, who has two porch renovations underway. The side porch is being restored, including the original columns which were Jim found in the basement of the house. Contractor Steve Barnes has begun demolition, and new LVLs and floor joists are going in. Around front Bob talks with Bill Hopkins from Forester Moulding about the new front railing, before joining Brian Wiggin who discusses how the new pieces will be assembled. Landscape work is also underway, including hydroseeding, and a new sprinkler system, and a new security system from ADT is installed. Back out front, Brian Wiggin finishes up the new front railing.
