Connected Home Update and Garage Doors (HA1210)
Work is continuing in the garage, where new Clopay garage doors and Craftsman door openers are being installed. Tim Woods from the Internet Home Alliance is back on site to talk a little more about the "connected home" solutions and explain how the structured wiring and satellite dish will distribute information throughout the house, as well as a quick look at the brains of the home's security system. Bob also takes a tour of the Calvin Coolidge home and the Burtch-Udall house, classic examples of Vermont farmhouses, with professor Tom Visser from the University of Vermont Historic Preservation Deptartment.
