Roof Deck and High-Tech Bathroom Features (HA1411)
Work is continuing in the penthouse bathroom in this episode. First up is the installation of a unique new tankless toilet from Toto USA. Called the Neorest 600, it is an “intelligent” unit that’s self-cleaning and offers hands-free remote controls. The unit features a unique warm-water cleansing unit. With the toilet in place, the installation of the marble sink top and Toto USA vanity is next. Earlier in the week, the Sim Stone floor tiles from Turkey were installed. Also in the bath is a Toto USA Baldwin Suite soaking tub, which has been set into a custom-built stainless steel surround. With the bathroom taking shape, Bob heads to famed Coney Island with Borough President Marty Markowitz to get a closer look at this historic section of Brooklyn. Back on location, Bob takes a quick look at progress being made on the roof deck.
