Installing Toilets, Sinks, Faucets and a Shower Body Spa, and the Self-Monitoring HVAC System (HA1506)
Bathroom fixtures are selected to complete the sleek, upscale look of Bob Vila's Home Again Miami condo. A contemporary, streamlined toilet gives a modern look to the lavatory, along with the inset vanity sink and chrome faucets. Bob takes a look at the colors, finishes, and features available with bathroom fixtures as the crew works to lighten and modernize the look of the entire condominium. A new valve in the bedroom shower creates a spa experience with multiple body sprays. A compact HVAC system is installed in the utility closet. Bob learns how this unit is cooled with water instead of air and the HVAC contractor explains how an automatic shutoff feature prevents water overflow due to malfunctioning. The automatic shutoff feature protects the property, since the apartment will not be inhabited at all times. Bob also checks out the Energy Star thermostat that is installed with the unit.
