Finishes Make the Remodel Complete (HA1508)

In this episode we tour the completed remodel of Bob Vila's Home Again condominium remodel in Miami Beach, Florida. The space is now open and light-filled, with finishes that invite light but bring warmth and relaxation. Carpets have been removed, but the footfalls are soft and beach-like on the newly installed cork floors. The spaces flow from one to another through a wash of color and light that passes through windows, the pocket doors, and across the sea-colored glass tile in the shower. Curved track lighting curls above the stylish rounded counter that serves as the dining area between the living room and kitchen. Glass sliders beckon onto the balcony that is outfitted with a custom-built bench plump with pillows, planters, and a view of the bay beyond. The dressing room is waiting for suitcases and storage. This is a relaxed, vacation getaway worth packing—and unpacking—for, again and again.
