OUR BEAUTIFUL WINDOWS IN.
IT TOOK AN EXTRA MONTH
TO GET THOSE PERMITS.
WELL, ACTUALLY,
HAVING LANDMARKS
GIVE US
THE FULL APPROVAL
TO INSTALL THE WINDOWS
FACING THE STREET HERE
HAS BEEN
OUR BIGGEST HURDLE.
AND ONCE WE ACTUALLY GOT
FINAL APPROVAL FROM THEM
THAT EVERYTHING WAS OK,
THEN WE WENT AHEAD
AND INSTALLED EVERYTHING.
AND I'M GLAD
WE WAITED.
WELL, THAT'S SOMETHING
THAT BECAME VERY CLEAR.
ACTUALLY,
A FEW HOUSES DOWN,
THEY WENT AHEAD AND HAD
ALL CUSTOM WINDOWS BUILT,
PUT THEM IN,
AND DAYS LATER,
LANDMARKS MADE THEM
REMOVE EVERYTHING.
AND SO NOW THEY'RE
JUST BOARDED UP.
SO NOW THEY'RE JUST WAITING
UNTIL THEY GET APPROVAL.
THE OTHER THING
THAT DELAYED US HERE
WAS THE PLUMBING PERMIT
FOR THE SPRINKLER PIPES.
GETTING ALL OF OUR
SPRINKLERS APPROVED
AND GETTING THE BUILDING
DEPARTMENT IN HERE
TO ACTUALLY
APPROVE EVERYTHING
BEFORE WE COULD CLOSE UP
ALL OF OUR CEILINGS
WAS A BIG PROBLEM, AND...
NOW THE KITCHEN
CABINETS ARE IN.
