Master Bedroom Project

Architect Tour of the Home Video

Bob meets with architects Mark and Geoffrey who are making a follow up visit to the project. Every two weeks they come by to check the progress in the field and make sure everything is going according to their drawings. Bob points out the insulation put between the first and second floors for acoustic purposes. Mark explains that the tubing in the ceiling is vinyl tubing used to supply hot water for the baseboard heat. Vinyl tubing has replaced copper for its ease of installation and resistance to freezing. Mark and Bob discuss the blue board which is being installed and will result in a high quality wall finish. In the family room the step down to the addition has allowed for a lower set of windows, and the notched corners create a bay where a window seat will be built in. Bob goes up to the second floor where he meets with Paul, the contractor, in the bedroom addition. They point out the new plaster as well as the trim, flooring, and painting that is yet to be done.
