Will one coat paints really cover in one coat?
Generally yes, paints will cover in one coat when applied at the recommended coverage rate, and by not overspreading or stretching the paint. Proper preparation and the use of good quality applicators will also ensure one coat coverage. If a surface has not been coated in 5 years or longer then the application of a primer sealer will also ensure even absorption of the paint.
