Air compressor hoses
Air compressor hoses are available in a variety of lengths. They serve to increase the range of air powered tools where electrical extension cords could cause voltage drop and possible operation problems.

Air compressor in-line filter
The air compressor in-line filter removes moisture, oil impurities and small particles from the compressed air before it reaches the pneumatic tool. The in-line filter must be located a minimum of 15 feet away from the compressor to allow the air to cool and for moisture to precipitate out from the air.

Air compressor on/off switch
The air compressor on/off switch is usually located on the pressure switch. The on/off switch converts the compressor from off to auto mode. It does not necessarily turn the unit on.

Air compressor pressure switch
The air compressor pressure switch turns the compressor on when the air tank pressure falls below the set cut-in pressure and turns it off when tank pressure reaches the maximum or cut-out pressure.

Air compressor regulator gauge
The air compressor regulator gauge indicates the outlet pressure in psi.

Air compressor safety valve
The air compressor safety valve will exhaust air from a tank if the tank pressure exceeds 150 psi.

Air compressor tank capacity
Air compressor tank capacity refers to the volume of air stored in a tank and available for immediate use. Large tanks allow for the intermittent use of pneumatic tools with an air requirement higher than the compressor's air delivery rating.

Air compressor tank gauge
The air compressor tank gauge indicates the current tank pressure in psi.

Air conditioner
A device for conditioning air in an interior space. A Room Air Conditioner is a unit designed for installation in the wall or window of a room to deliver conditioned air without ducts. A Unitary Air Conditioner is composed of one or more assemblies that usually include an evaporator or cooling coil, a compressor and condenser combination, and possibly a heating apparatus. A Central Air Conditioner is designed to provide conditioned air from a central unit to a whole house with fans and ducts.

Air conditioning
The control of the quality, quantity, and temperature-humidity of the air in an interior space.
