Cetane number
Comparison of the ignition quality of diesel fuel, Cetane and alpha -methyl-napthalene are both hydrocarbons but alpha-methyl-napthalene has very poor ignition quality while cetane has good ignition quality. After mixing them together, adjustment is made so that it has the same ignition quality as the diesel fuel being tested and the cetane number, given to the diesel fuel, is the percentage of cetane in the mixture.
Chain

Chain hoist
Hoist that uses gearing to mechanically lift a load. The gearing is attached to a drum, which has a hook and chain attached. After the load is hooked by the chain, the drum is turned by the gearing, which winds the chain onto the drum, lifting the load.

Series of welds, alternating from one side of a joint to the other, that run along the length of the joint.

Connection at the edge of a chain link fence, which is twisted and cut wire.
