Drill-driver
A drill-driver is a drill which has an adjustable (multi-setting) torque clutch so that torque can be increased to drill holes and decreased to drive screws.

Drip
(1) To let drops of liquid fall; to fall in or as in drops. (2) Projecting part of a sill, cornice, etc. that has a underside groove to shed rainwater.

Drip cap
Projections at the top of doors or windows, which are used to redirect water.

Drip channel
A metal channel that is designed to prevent water running down a shower door from dripping onto the floor when the door is opened.

Drip edge
Overlapping piece of metal that goes around the edge of a roof to prevent water from running down the fascia and getting under the roof.

Drip irrigation
A trickle irrigation system. Highly recommended for soaking the soil well. Used where water sources are limited.

Loop in the service conductor to minimize the chance of water penetration.

Drip molding
Molding that is installed around the base of the wall of buildings to stop water from running from the walls into the foundation.

Drip pan
Low, shallow container, which is used under machinery to hold any leaking fluids.
