Pipe that carries wastes from non-toilet plumbing fixtures directly to the building drain. It is also called a waste pipe, wet vent, or fixture branch.

Flake
A scale like particle. To lose bond from a surface in small thin pieces. Sometimes a paint film "flakes".
Flakeboard
Wood flakes bonded with a binder material to be used as sheeting veneer under cabinets or as sheathing, under the finish, for walls and roofs.
Flaking
A form of paint failure characterized by the detachment of small pieces of the film from the surface of previous coat of paint. If is usually preceded by cracking or blistering.
Flame
The burning gas or vapors of a fire; a flickering light of various colors.
