Poured in place
Concrete or mortar that is poured and cured in the place where it will remain permanently, such as concrete slab foundations.
Poured in place insulation
This "loose" insulation is poured into open spaces in a house, possibly an attic floor. Cellulose and Fiberglass are two types of this insulation, which comes in bags that are opened and poured into place and leveled or raked with a board.
Powder flame spraying
Application of a melted powder metal coating by use of a spray method. When hard surface metals, which are brittle when used alone, are sprayed onto a softer metal, they provide a hard and wear-resistant surface.
Powdercoat
A technique for applying paint to aluminum shower door frames. The aluminum is covered with a powder of dry paint particles and is baked in an oven. This causes the powder to melt and harden into a tough, colorful finish.
