| SCROLL SAW
|
 |
The scroll saw is one of the easiest bench top power tools to use, even for the novice woodworker. While most scroll saws have the ability to cut stock as thick as two inches at 90 degrees, they're better suited for more detailed work, like cutting intricate patterns. The narrow width of the blade allows it to make tighter turns and much smoother cuts than its larger cousin, the band saw. In addition, the blade can be threaded through the workpiece for interior cuts. The scroll saw is the only bench top power tool that has this feature. |
