Spindle lock
The spindle lock locks a freely moving spindle into place, thereby allowing for single wrench blade and disc changes.

Spinner handle
A spinner handle drive tool looks like a screwdriver. The socket attaches to the unit for rapid, light tightening. Can be found with solid or flexible shafts.

Spinning reserve

Wood stain, that dries quickly, due to the addition of a volatile liquid vehicle that evaporates easily.

Splash block
A pad which is placed under the lower end of a downspout and diverts the water from the downspout away from the house. Usually made out of concrete or fiberglass.

Splash guard
A fabricated metal pan or masonry block that is placed below a leader pipe or downspout and is used to help protect the roof membrane on a lower roof level or to prevent soil erosion when placed on the ground.
