Western red cedar was chosen for this project because of its beauty and natural abilities to stand up to insects and harsh weather for many years. Step 5: Cut away the stock with the router.
Starting on the outside of the board, cut away the stock using the router. Cut all the way to the marked line.
 Use the router to cut away to the line.
