Step 2: Cut a rabbit into the 4 x 4 posts.
A rabbit will be cut into the entire length of both 4 x 4 posts, using a dado stack on a table saw. The rabbit will secure the tongue-and-groove boards. Set the dado stack 5/8-inch wide, with a 1/2-inch depth. Cut the rabbit along the length of both posts.
 Cut the 5/8-inch-wide, 1/2-inch-deep rabbit along the length of the post.
