Glass Panel Systems by Circle Redmont are a unique way to bring natural daylight and recycle other lighting sources in any room or area of the home. For the Victorian Makeover Project project, SolarWhite Panels™ were designed into the master bed/bath area providing a custom glass accent flooring area while recycling the natural daylight into the lower level. Additional SolarWhite Panels™ were installed in the second and first floors perpendicular to each other, brightening the interior halls and bringing natural light into the basement.

SolarWhite Panels™ incorporate hollow glass blocks prefabricated in a structural aluminum framework. Glass panels weigh approximately 20lbs. per square foot when using 8-inch x 8-inch hollow glass blocks, and will maintain a minimum live load capacity of 60lbs. per square foot on a 5-foot span. SolarWhite Panels™ complement all types of building construction and can be used for flooring, skylights, residential deck surfaces, and walls, or as complete structures including curved and vaulted panels available in single and tandem assemblies. Several standard sizes are available in three perimeter types: curb, flange, and inset. Circle Redmont can engineer and customize SolarWhite™ for your particular project.
