GM's OnStar's Virtual Advisor service brings personalized Web data to the car using hands-free solutions that let you keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. Subscribers speak a four-digit personal identification number to initiate the service and then use voice commands to access information they've elected to receive from the OnStar Web site. You can have e-mails retrieved and select just those you want to have read to you or have e-mails forwarded from another address to the OnStar account. Virtual Advisor is all about personalization. You choose and customize the categories that are important to you from the OnStar Web site and then only that information is delivered to the vehicle. Choose sports scores for selected teams, weather for your area, and specific stocks, along with business, national and international news. And of course you're plugged into the local traffic scene so you're on top of the latest construction delays, accidents, weather and special events that affect traffic flow.
