Handicapped Accessible Ramp
Behind the Scenes - Accessible Home
1)
The concrete path leading to the ramp is angled up slightly to meet the incline of the ramp.
2)
Pressure treated joists are bolted to the foundation and spaced 12" apart.
3)
4"X4" posts and 1"X5" decking are used for durability.
4)
Bob and Ryley install the sill for the railing.
5)
Once the railing is in place it can be capped with a final piece of smooth hand rail.
6)
This ramp is sure to last under the toughest conditions and the heaviest traffic.
