Step 3: Remove the window sash With one of the stops removed, slide the sash up and out of the window frame. If there are counterweights, remove them. Slide the sash up and out of the frame.
Always use goggles or safety glasses and heavy work gloves when handling glass. Carefully wrap up broken glass to dispose. Vacuum up glass shards when project is complete.
