How to Replace Old Washer Hoses

Replace old washing machine hoses with stainless-steel ones to protect against leaks and deterioration.
Step 9: Attach the new hot-water supply hose and turn on the water
Attach the new hot-water supply hose to the outlet at the wall. Tighten the fitting using the groove-joint pliers. Do not over-tighten. The rubber seals on each end are designed for a tight fit. Turn on the water supply and watch for any leaks. Gently tighten fittings to stop leaks. Move washer back into place.
Tighten the fittings on the new supply hose and turn on the water.

The water supply must be completely closed before you disconnect hoses. If there is any leaking water, shut off the main water supply until the project is complete.
